Home Grown Dreams… our first real Amsterdam experience! Awesome atmosphere & a fantastic menu.
Amsterdam is amazing, a true city of art! Everywhere you look, stunning architecture & every wall has some kind of masterpiece on it. The crisp air & light skies make a perfect backdrop for this city of brick & sculpture.
Yesterday we found ourselves wandering all over, Bodra & Kim able to guide us everywhere & me content to trail them snapping at virtually everything. A total feast for the eyes!
We found a real cute toy shop that had a puppy version of Perriwinkle aswell as a few grizzlys that resembled Bear. An amazing chocolate shop that had our mouths watering as soon as our noses hit it. We toasted then devoured cranberry, nutmeg & sweet creamy chocolates… we will be returning for more adventures in chocolatatey land! Dinner was at a lovely Thai restaurant which had authentic looking Buddhist art & fairly delicious meals.
Felix’s keyboard is Germanized with the z & y in different places. A little tricky to get used to!
Today we shall be going to Foam a photographic gallery & maybe to a museum. There is plenty of sun outside, all the trees are skeletons & slender from their winter fast. We’re all well rested & ready for another day of exploring!
